Description

Running a farming business in 2026 requires clear financial understanding and confident decision making. Rising input costs, increasing machinery expenses and seasonal variability mean that being across your numbers is more important than ever.

This one day, face-to-face workshop has been designed to support farmers and business partners to strengthen their financial literacy and improve how decisions are made within the business. The session is practical, applied and grounded in real farm businesses.

Participants will work through the financial information that underpins their operation, focusing on cashflow, debt management and the impact of current choices on future outcomes. The workshop also supports stronger internal business discussions, helping partners and family members align around the numbers when making key decisions.

This is not a theoretical session. You will work with practical tools and templates that can be taken away and used in your business.

What you will gain

  • Greater confidence in understanding your financial position
  • Clearer visibility of how cash flows through your business
  • Improved confidence in internal business discussions with partners
  • Practical preparation for bank and finance reviews
  • Tools to support more confident, forward-looking decisions
