Happy Feet, Happy Sheep - Train the Trainer [DAY 2]

Cost: $150 a day ($300 both days)
This two-day workshop is targeted at contractors and sheep vets interested in designing and overseeing footrot management and eradication programs. The program will improve your understanding of footrot, the steps that need to be taken to manage and eradicate the disease and how you can assist in designing and executing biosecurity programs to keep footrot out.
Event summary:
Day 1 - Theory session
- Understanding footrot and how to make a diagnosis.
- Control vs Eradication - what is the best option?
- Designing a control program.
- Designing an eradication program.
- Designing a prevention program to reduce the risk of footrot coming onto the property.
Day 2 - Practical session
A practical session to run in conjunction with a footrot eradication program. Attendees will be able to observe trimming, grinding and identification of various conditions affecting sheep's feet. While day 2 is predominantly targeted to paring contractors, all are welcome to attend.

The cost of the workshop is $150 per day ($300 for both days)
