Given the widespread interest the Limestone Coast Landscape Board is running two more introductory workshops to help you understand your farm emissions. Farmers and land managers are being put under increased pressure, both locally and globally, to reduce farm emissions and increase production.
The Mount Gambier workshop will provide carbon farming strategies suitable for the Limestone Coast region that can help you lower your emissions profile and ensure you can make informed decisions based on your whole farming enterprise.
What you will learn:
- Why carbon accounting matters to your farm business.
- How to prepare your farm records for future carbon reporting.
- Practical strategies to reduce and mitigate farm emissions and the co-benefits.
Whether you're new to the topic or ready to formalise your approach, this workshop is your opportunity to act and build confidence to understanding carbon farming.
Dinner is provided - let us know if you have any special dietary requirements by emailing James on james.beck2@sa.gov.au.
