Livestock SA Board nominations now open
Livestock SA is calling for nominations to fill three positions on its Board, with vacancies for cattle producer, sheep producer and skills-based elected director positions.
Livestock SA members who are committed to contributing to the future direction of the industry on behalf of South Australia's livestock producers are encouraged to nominate.
Livestock SA Chair, Gillian Fennell said serving on the Board provided members with an opportunity to contribute to the organisation's advocacy and representation of the state's livestock industry.
"Livestock SA exists to represent the interests of livestock producers, and the Board plays an important role in ensuring the organisation remains connected to the issues and priorities facing producers across South Australia," Ms Fennell said.
"We are seeking nominations from members who are passionate about the future of their industry and willing to contribute their skills, experience and industry knowledge.”
"Strong producer representation is central to the work of Livestock SA and helps ensure we continue to advocate effectively on the issues that matter most to our members."
“This is an opportunity to be part of an organisation that is shaping policy, driving industry outcomes and working to build a resilient future for South Australia's livestock sectors.”
Nomination forms and further information are available from the Livestock SA website Board Nominations Open | Livestock SA or by contacting the Livestock SA office on 08 8297 2299.
Nominations close at 11.59pm (ACDT) on Sunday 25 October 2026.
