Apply for a Tools and Talk Session Workshop

Livestock SA invites applications from local farming systems groups, Ag Bureaus, councils and other community organisations to host Tools and Talk Sessions under the Red Meat Challenges Project. These small scale workshops are designed to support livestock producers with practical technical information while building social connection in regional communities.

What support is available?

  • Funding of up to $1,500 per event.

  • Anyone interested in applying for Learn and Lead Workshops (larger technical workshops and webinars) must contact Livestock SA directly to discuss their proposal and eligibility.

Tools and Talk Session event requirements

To be eligible, the workshops must:

  • Feature a speaker with relevant technical expertise (e.g. animal health, pasture recovery, feed budgeting).

  • Include a social element, such as a BBQ, morning tea or shared meal.

  • Collect participant registration data and complete a short post event survey (for monitoring and evaluation).

  • Adhere to the branding guidelines.
