Australia’s largest online marketplace for hay, grain and straw. You can browse listings, request quality assurance, and access seasonal insights.
LocalAg
A new platform powered by Feed Central, LocalAg helps connect buyers with local farmers and businesses offering feed and other agricultural services.
Fodderlink
Offers a nationwide listing of available hay, silage, straw and grain. You can search by location and feed type to find what best suits your needs.
Farm Tender
An established online marketplace for buying and selling feed, grain and other farm supplies. Farm Tender also provides a Daily Digest newsletter with market updates.
Australian Fodder Industry Association (AFIA)
AFIA supports the fodder supply chain and provides news, events and updates for producers, including fodder quality standards and seasonal outlooks.
Bringing Fodder into South Australia
Before purchasing or transporting fodder into SA, make sure you’re aware of the state’s biosecurity rules. PIRSA has specific requirements in place to prevent the introduction of pests and diseases through imported feed.
Key requirements include:

- Notification prior to entry
- Inspection and treatment protocols
- Storage and usage conditions

Livestock SA successfully negotiated with the State Government to enable hay to be sourced from more areas in WA and continues to advocate for ‘heat maps’ for all states to help producers quickly identify biosecurity risk zones.
