Small Landholder sheep health workshop [Mount Torrens]

New to sheep or looking to sharpen your skills? This workshop is for you!

This practical, hands-on workshop is designed for hobby farmers and small landholders preparing their sheep for winter and lambing. Delivered as a Saturday morning session, it will focus on building confidence in core sheep management skills.

Join Tim Prance (T Prance Rural Consulting) and Colin Trengove (Pro Ag Consulting) as they take you through a range of topics including sheep nutrition basics with an emphasis on pre-lambing needs, pasture versus supplementary feeding, and practical body condition scoring. You will also learn about common sheep foot health issues, including how to identify problems and what to do if issues are suspected. A short overview of basic biosecurity is also included.
