With PIRSA’s Amanda Schapel and Soil and Land’s Ed Scott, participants will be walked through two soil pits of two different soil types – loam over clay and deep sand over clay – to outline the importance of different management practices according to soil type.
Learn:
- The fundamentals of soil health
- The importance of measuring before you manage
- Understanding soil constraints and how to manage them
The new Knowing Your Soils Ute Guide and Pasture Weed Guide will be on hand for participants to take home.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Spots are limited, booking is essential!
